You came to read a few articles. Did we take any of your data? This page lays it out, and it's probably less than you'd expect.

The short answer up front: Pinecone Academy is a static website. It doesn't ask you to register, doesn't make you log in, and has no form for you to enter personal details into. You're here to read articles and use a few small tools, and what we know about your side basically stops at "someone visited a certain page."
No sign-up, and no account
This site has no registration, login, or comment features. We don't ask you for your name, email, phone number, or ID, and there's nowhere for you to submit them. You don't have to hand over anything to read.
How the tools handle data
The DCA simulator, fee calculator, and position calculator all run locally in your browser. The amounts, rates, and stop-loss figures you enter are only used to calculate the result in front of you. They're not uploaded to our servers, and not saved. Close or refresh the page and those inputs are gone.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no tracking cookies, serves no ad tracking, and builds no profile of you for cross-site tracking. We have no interest in knowing who "you" are.
We may use basic, aggregate site analytics, only to get a rough sense of how many people visit and which articles get read most, so we can decide what to write next. That kind of statistic looks at trends (say, how many times a page was opened today), not at any specific person. If we add a tool like that in future, we'll note here which one it is.
Third parties we use
To display the site to you properly, two kinds of third party touch some technical information (mainly your IP address and browser identifier, which any web request involves):
- Font CDN — the fonts on this site load through Google Fonts. When fonts load, your browser makes a request to its servers. Its data handling is governed by Google's privacy policy, outside our control.
- Server and CDN — like every website, the hosting and content-delivery services briefly record technical details in access logs (IP, time, the page requested) in order to serve the page and defend against attacks. These logs are for operations and security, not for identifying you personally.
Links to exchanges
This site contains referral links to Binance. Once you click away from this site and land on the exchange's pages, your privacy is governed by their policy, not this one. Any data collection there (including details you enter at sign-up, KYC identity information, and so on) is the exchange's responsibility; we can't see it and don't handle it. Your rights
Because we don't collect information that identifies you in the first place, there's no "account profile" here for you to look up, correct, or delete. If for any reason you'd like to know whether we hold information related to you, or want us to delete certain technical logs, write to us and we'll cooperate within reason.
Minors
Crypto is high-risk, and this site's content is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from minors, and we don't recommend that minors take part in crypto trading.
Policy updates
If this policy changes (for instance, if we add a new analytics tool), we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also get a line in the correction log.
