You came to read a few articles. Did we take any of your data? This page lays it out, and it's probably less than you'd expect.

The short answer up front: Pinecone Academy is a static website. It doesn't ask you to register, doesn't make you log in, and has no form for you to enter personal details into. You're here to read articles and use a few small tools, and what we know about your side basically stops at "someone visited a certain page."
No sign-up, and no account
This site has no registration, login, or comment features. We don't ask you for your name, email, phone number, or ID, and there's nowhere for you to submit them. You don't have to hand over anything to read.
How the tools handle data
The DCA simulator, fee calculator, and position calculator all run locally in your browser. The amounts, rates, and stop-loss figures you enter are only used to calculate the result in front of you. They're not uploaded to our servers, and not saved. Close or refresh the page and those inputs are gone.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not run ad tracking or build profiles for cross-site advertising.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page visits and interactions, along with statistics about devices, browsers, and approximate regions. GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies, and the related data is processed by Google. This site does not use a third-party advertising network.
There's a second, lighter counter as well: Cloudflare Web Analytics, a script Cloudflare adds to our pages and loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com. What it hands us is a tally of visits, which page sent people here, and how long pages took to load. Cloudflare says it works without cookies or localStorage and doesn't lean on your IP address or browser setup to work out who you are.
One thing worth knowing: clearing cookies doesn't switch GA4 off, because its script still sends requests on the next page you open. A tracker-blocking browser extension is what actually stops both scripts, and the articles and tools work the same with one installed.
Third parties we use
To display the site properly, the following third-party services touch some technical information (mainly your IP address and browser identifier, which any web request involves); GA4 data processing is described above:
- Font CDN — the fonts on this site load through Google Fonts. When fonts load, your browser makes a request to its servers. Its data handling is governed by Google's privacy policy, outside our control.
- Cloudflare — every request passes through Cloudflare on its way to our server. To get the page to you, Cloudflare handles your IP address, the URL you asked for, and what kind of browser you're using, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Our server itself doesn't keep access logs.
Links to exchanges
This site contains referral links to Binance. Once you click away from this site and land on the exchange's pages, your privacy is governed by their policy, not this one. Any data collection there (including details you enter at sign-up, KYC identity information, and so on) is the exchange's responsibility; we can't see it and don't handle it. Your rights
This site has no user accounts or forms for submitting personal details, so there is no "account profile" here to look up, correct, or delete. You can delete the GA4 cookies from your browser whenever you like, and if you'd prefer not to be measured at all, a tracker-blocking extension handles that. If you'd like to know whether we hold information related to you, write to us.
Minors
Crypto is high-risk, and this site's content is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from minors, and we don't recommend that minors take part in crypto trading.
Policy updates
If this policy or our data practices change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also get a line in the correction log.
